Like most outdoor sports, there is some inherent rist to canyoneering. Just like we mitigate the risks of dental procedures to our patients, we do our best to mitigate the risks of canyoneering. The gear we use is typically rated to hold 4-5,000lbs. On our Dental ACE trips, we also employ some of the safest methods available.
The most physically taxing part of most trips is the hike. Usually 1-2 miles with a few hundred feet of elevation gain. I have taken people ages 7-76 of all sizes and fitness levels. We can make it work for you.
One of the inescapable facts of life, is that you reap what you sow. This class is no exception. If you want to see results in your practice and personal life, the homework is highly recommended.
Not attending the online sessions will disqualify you from participating in the in-person segment of the class.
Because the class is principle-based, what we teach can apply to anyone. Shoot us an email to discuss a group rate.
Due to liability, we must ask you to use our gear for the course.
Weather is a big risk when entering a slot canyon. We do our best to be aware of weather conditions. Rain is one reason that we would cancel a canyon trip. Because of this, we recommend purchasing trip insurance for your in-person weekend. If it becomes obvious that weather will be an issue, we will notify you so that the trip can be changed.
